English Cocker Spaniel

Originally spaniels were all under one name, Spaniels,, but in 1800 was first reported a "Cocker Spaniel" which probably owes its name to the hunting of Woodcock (woodcock). Founder of the race is Mr. James Farrow, whose dog Obo as progenitor of the Cocker Spaniel can be considered. The breed was recognized in England in 1902.
